What the ATSReady resume route supports below the desktop width and when you need to reopen the document on desktop.

Below 1024 px, ATSReady switches the resume route to a preview-first surface.

It is a width rule, not a device rule. A portrait tablet gets the same surface a phone does, and so does a browser window dragged narrow on a desktop. The navigation changes at the same boundary — see Navigate on a phone. A tailored resume that has been locked, and a resume opened from the Resume tab of a saved job, land on the same surface at any width.

The product’s own notice on this surface says: “Editing is available on desktop.”

What you can still do

You can still:

  • review the rendered resume,
  • change template,
  • and export the document.

What a template change here does not do

Changing template on this surface moves the preview and the export. It does not move the stored document.

Save, undo, and redo belong to the desktop workspace and are not rendered below 1024 px, so there is no control on screen that can store the change. The change still marks the document as having unsaved changes, which is why leaving the page can raise a confirmation about work you have no way to keep. Export first if you want the document as you have just set it up, and make the change again on desktop if you want it to persist.
