Journey notes attach to the currently selected entry and become reusable evidence for later AI workflows.

How to add a note

  1. Select the journey entry you want to describe. The composer opens beneath it and is labeled with that entry's name, so what you write is always attached to the entry you can see above it.
  2. Type into that entry's note composer.
  3. Save it with the Save note button, or with the keyboard: Ctrl + Enter on Windows and Linux, ⌘ + Enter on Mac. The hint beside the button spells the same chord, and Keyboard shortcuts lists it with the rest.

Plain Enter inserts a new line. It does not save the note.

The note composer under a journey entry: a text area, a Save note button, and the keyboard hint beside it.
The composer belongs to the entry above it, and offers the button and the keyboard chord side by side.

Until you have written something, Save note is dimmed and says why rather than doing nothing silently.

Why notes matter

ATSReady uses notes as source evidence for:

Write notes that travel well

The strongest notes say:

  • what you did
  • where you did it
  • what changed as a result

That structure gives ATSReady better input for both identity regeneration and push to resume.
