Finish setup later
Return to an unfinished ATSReady setup flow, understand the routes that still work during setup, and distinguish that flow from the later Continue setup action.
On this page
If ATSReady keeps sending you back to Get started, setup is still incomplete.
What to do
- Open ATSReady.
- Let the app return you to Get started.
- Finish the remaining setup steps.
What you can still open
While setup is incomplete, you can still use:
- Get started
- the current resume import progress view, if an import is already running
- Pricing, described on Upgrade your plan and manage billing
- General, Account and Preferences, the three routes on Where each setting lives
- Activity
Activity is on that list on purpose: a half-finished account is exactly the one with a resume import running or failed behind it, and the activity log is the only screen that says so.
The sidebar during setup is narrower than the list above: it offers Get started, Activity and Settings, with General, Account and Preferences under Settings. Pricing has no row there. If you open anything outside this list, ATSReady can send you back to setup.
This page carries no screenshot. Everything it describes is a state that only exists while setup is unfinished, and the account these screenshots come from finished it.
Do not confuse this with Continue setup
The Continue setup control on General is different. It appears for an account that has already finished setup and wants to reopen skipped steps later. Its own description is the guarantee worth reading: nothing is deleted, and your resume, jobs, journal and skills stay as they are.
When that return path is used with an account that already has a resume, the wizard resumes at Contact & Links and does not reopen Resume Upload.
If setup still does not clear
- Recheck the current step for missing required information.
- Finish the wizard to the end instead of stopping after a partially completed step.
- If the block is tied to a background task, continue with When something is stuck.
