Why something is locked

Understand whether an ATSReady lock is caused by plan access, an exhausted allowance, or a setup state that still blocks the workflow.

When something is locked in ATSReady, the cause is usually one of three things: plan access, a spent allowance, or incomplete setup.

Check the type of block

  1. Check whether the control links to or points toward /pricing.
  2. Check whether the feature is one of the capabilities listed on What each ATSReady plan includes.
  3. Check whether the app is still sending you to Get started.

Common lock patterns

  • The feature is not included on your current plan. Use What each ATSReady plan includes for the canonical tier table.
  • The feature is included on your plan, but a metered allowance is exhausted. Use Monthly job import allowance if the blocked action is a job import or the AI pass over a saved job.
  • Setup is still incomplete, so ATSReady sends you back to Get started before the workflow can open. Finish setup later lists what stays open while that is true.
  • You have just upgraded and the Chrome extension has not caught up. Its panel says so in its own words — see Sign in to the extension.

Locked is not the same as out of allowance

For the metered allowance, ATSReady distinguishes:

  • not included on your plan at all, which is a subscription refusal and sends you to pricing
  • included, but the current month's allowance is spent, which is a limit refusal and carries your usage and the reset time

The two look similar on screen and mean different things: the first needs a plan change, the second only needs the month to end. If you need that distinction, continue with Monthly job import allowance.

This page carries no screenshot. A lock is a state your account is in rather than a place on screen, and it surfaces differently on every control it touches, so no single frame would represent it.
