Glossary
Definitions for ATSReady-specific terms used across Activity, Identity, Journey, language, and résumé workflows.

Use this glossary for stable ATSReady terms that recur across the docs.
Activity
The list of background work for your account. See What the ATSReady activity log shows.
Appears stuck
The detail-pane warning shown beside Pending when a queued job has waited too long to start. See ATSReady status words.
Base résumé
Your main résumé. ATSReady preselects it in the push workflow. See Tailored resumes for how it differs from a résumé written for one job.
Bullets
The second half of a push preview, headed Bullets. Unlike the facts half, this half is written by the AI service, one run per company, and each bullet says which note it came from. A bullet no note supports is labelled Suggested — unsourced and is still ticked, so it is yours to untick.
Elevator Pitch
The label on the main identity summary. See What Professional Identity is.
Facts
The first half of a push preview, headed Facts. Its caption states the rule that makes it the half you can trust literally: "No AI touches this half." Facts are records you already wrote down, and each row is marked either New entry or Replaces a value. Because they need no AI, a push whose bullets fail still writes them rather than failing whole.
Identity
ATSReady's generated professional summary of your record. See Professional Identity.
Journey category
One of the ten top-level containers in the professional journey source record. See Professional Journey categories.
Note
Saved text attached to one journey entry. Notes feed identity and push workflows. See Add notes to a Professional Journey entry.
Push
The workflow that writes a journey entry into your résumés, in two halves: Facts and Bullets. Only the bullets half involves AI. See Push a journey entry to a résumé.
Stuck
The list-level warning for a queued job that has waited longer than expected. It is not a separate server state. See What to do when a background task is stuck.
Tailored — job still in {{first stage}}
The heading over the optional push targets, carrying an Optional badge. These are tailored résumés offered as push targets because the job each one was written for is still in the first column of your board. They are offered, not preselected. See How the job board works for which column that is.
Tailored — locked
The heading over push targets carrying a Locked badge. A locked target is listed so you can see where it went, and it is not selectable. Each one states its own reason — its job moved to a later stage — and says that it unlocks when that job is back in the first column of your board. See Tailored resumes.
Up to date
A row state in the content translations panel, meaning every supported item has a current translation in that language. It is not the push wording: a push target with nothing new to write reports Skipped — already up to date.
This page carries no screenshot. It defines words rather than describing a screen, and each term links to the page that shows the surface it appears on.
