Use the resume preview to jump to an edit

On editable resume surfaces, clicking the rendered preview moves you to the matching section or entry in the form column.

When it works

This is an editor shortcut, not a separate editing mode. It works when the preview is paired with the editable workspace, which means the desktop resume editor at 1024 px or wider, on a resume that is not locked.

How to use it

1. Open the resume in the desktop editor.
2. Click the part of the preview you want to change.
3. ATSReady selects the matching section so you can edit it in the form column, and briefly highlights what you picked so you can tell it registered the right thing.

That highlight is deliberately short-lived. It confirms the click and then clears itself, rather than leaving a persistent mark on a document you are about to read.

There is no screenshot on this page. What it describes is that momentary highlight, and a still of the preview between clicks would show an ordinary document — a picture of nothing happening, which is not what the page is about.

When it does not work

On a preview-only surface, clicking the preview does nothing at all. This is stronger than the shortcut being unavailable: the surface never attaches a click handler to the document, so there is no hover affordance, no highlight, and no reaction of any kind. Nothing indicates a shortcut is missing, because as far as that surface is concerned there was never one.

The preview-only surfaces are the resume route below 1024 px, a locked tailored resume, and a resume opened from the Resume tab of a saved job. The same three surfaces are where market and language settings go read-only.
