Mock interviews
The four ATSReady mock-interview rounds, per-round turn caps, when typed or spoken answers are available, and where the answers you keep are stored.
ATSReady mock interviews run as four ordered rounds: Behavioural, Technical, Situational, and Closing. You start one from chat, at /dashboard.
Round structure
Every paid tier gets the same four rounds, and What each plan includes is the canonical table for the tiers themselves. What changes by tier is the question-turn cap inside each round:
- Basic: 2 turns
- Pro: 4 turns
- Pro+: 8 turns

Typed and spoken answers
The starter card asks Answer by, with two choices: Typing and Speaking.
Typed rounds are available on Basic, Pro, and Pro+. Speaking is available only on Pro+, which is the only tier with monthly voice minutes. On every other plan the round runs as text and the card says so.
Choosing Speaking asks your browser for the microphone. Declining breaks nothing — the round runs as text instead. Your words land in the transcript either way. ATSReady itself keeps no audio, only the words; the provider that runs the interviewer receives your speech and may hold it for a short period for safety checks, which the panel states before it asks for the microphone.
Kept answers
Keeping your answers is your choice. Before the first draft answer is written for you, the draft panel asks May your rehearsal answers be kept?, and nothing is kept unless you choose Keep them. Once you have, ATSReady keeps the question and your answer for every question in a round, with the draft where one was offered, and later drafts in a round of the same kind are written with them as examples of how you write. They are not used for training.
Kept answers live on the job the round was held against. Open the job, choose Interviews from the section menu, and they are listed under Practice interview answers, grouped by round. Each one can be deleted there on its own, which leaves the conversation it was given in untouched.
Answers are kept only for a round held against a saved job. An answer given while the conversation has no job attached, including after the job is detached partway through a round, is not kept.
The keep switch and the control that deletes every kept answer are in Settings → Preferences → Practice interviews, at /profile/preferences; Change preferences describes both. Deleting the job deletes the answers kept for it, and deleting the conversation deletes the answers given in it.
Session limits
Mock interview sessions are also rate-limited per user per day. See chat limits for the current caps.
